Jersey City Road Runners is hosting the inaugural Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial 5K on MLK Day, Monday, January 18th at 8:00am, starting the run at Communipaw and MLK, going down MLK to McAdoo and then back. Start the day off with us at prayer service at 7:00am at Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion church (140 Belmont Ave.at the corner of Bergen Avenue), where Dr. King preached on March 27, 1968, one week before he was assassinated. We will then process over to the start of the race. NO CHARGE TO RUNNERS, but every participating runner must register through RunSignUp.
